The plane carrying Speaker of the US House of Representatives Nancy Pelosi landed in Taiwan, according to Flight Radar data.
China has repeatedly warned that Pelosi's visit would be seen as a violation of its sovereignty and threatened consequences, including a military response. Prior to her arrival, Beijing closed the skies over the Taiwan Strait to civilian aircraft.
